SEASON 05 – SPRING SUMMER 2024

or Season 05 — Spring Summer 24, Meta Campania Collective is pleased to present its first Women’s Collection, extending its signature silhouette and ethos to a wardrobe designed for women. The season presents a versatile collection, as easy to wear on city days and nights as it is in remote, more natural destinations.

Above all, the collection embodies summer ease and comfort. Natural, precious, and ultra-lightweight fabrics expand the material vocabulary of the MCC wardrobe. Exactingly sourced silk, crochet, cottons, cotton-cashmere and cashmere-linen blends, raw denim, lightweight cashmere and mesh knitwear give the collection an elevated, effortless feel.

The use of color tracks the rich easiness of the fabric selection. Light beige, warm greys, earthy browns and khakis are offset with black, midnight, ice blue and meta blue. Orange and purple are introduced as seasonal highlights.

The silhouette expands on that of prior seasons. Once again, the artist’s wardrobe is the central inspiration. For Spring Summer 24, added length and additional volume catch summer breezes.

The hooded wrap trench in lightweight cotton guards against a sudden downpour while remaining light, soft, and packable. Likewise, the boxy, hooded blouson protects against the elements, while its unlined construction keeps you comfortable on humid afternoons. Oversized shorts in broderie francaise pair with a matching workwear jacket or else a short-sleeved shirt for a sense of quotidian luxury. These unlined shorts are also available in hand crochet and silk jacquard constructions.

Slouchy shirts in ultra-soft felted cashmere and stone-washed chambray shirts provide warm-weather layering options, while sandals and slippers complete the look to channel the brand’s characteristic luxury nonchalance.

For a more formal option, Season 5 introduces a raw silk suit in ice blue and a redesigned double-breasted jacket, cut from lightweight wool. When worn over a cotton tank top, the look affords an easy transition from formal to informal, day to night, and everything in- between.

A hand-drawn octopus debuts as brand mascot, representing the independent spirit of an artist. This season it appears printed and embroidered on jersey pieces throughout the collection.

French artist, Samuel Fasse, contributed to this season’s lookbook.
Fasse created flags and sculptures for the cast of creatives to interact with while modelling the collection.
