SEASON 02

Season 02 of Meta Campania Collective builds on the essential wardrobe introduced in Season 01, while paying homage to the New-York art scene of the 70s and 80s (Basquiat,Prince, Schnabel, Haring, et al.).

The lookbook was shot with friends in our studio in Paris—creatives from a variety of disciplines who embody the inspiration behind the brand and collection.

Our artist uniform staples—workwear jacket and drawstring trousers—remainkey pieces, once again forming the center of the collection. In this iteration they are realized in exaggerated cotton corduroy and midweight cashmere.

The collection is filled out with wardrobe essentials: the bomber, the peacoat, the car coat, the down and shearling jackets, and the overshirt—all produced in Italy in quality natural fibers like cashmere, boiled wool, and organic cotton. Also included in the collection are heavy-ribbed as well as classic cashmerecrew, v-neck, and turtle-neck sweaters for layering.

Fits are generous, nonchalant, and have a timeless, yet current look and feel. The pieces are unconstructed and possess a simple worn-in elegance, as if they’d been part of one’s wardrobe already for years.

Color remains as essential as fit. A palette of black, midnight blue, dark-chocolate brown, white, dark-khaki brown, mink and military green ishighlighted with meta blue, red, bright purple and sand.

This collection’s look is completed by a chunky boot in calf leather—down-filled and shearling-lined, as well as a selection of accessories, including tote and laptop bags, handmade in leather and shearling.
