SEASON 01

Season 01 establishes Meta Campania Collective’s signature silhouettes and wardrobe staples.

Our chief inspiration is the considered nonchalance of the way an artist dresses, lives and works.  With a focus on quality of make, fit, and material, the brand is characterized by the lived-in individuality of every piece we produce.

The artist uniform—workwear jacket with drawstring trousers or shorts—centers the collection. The pieces are realized in tangibly natural materials: dry Japanese cotton, lightweight organic cotton, open-weave hemp wool, as well as a luxurious lamb suede.

Essential wardrobe staples fill out the collection: a classic t-shirt, a long-sleeve T, a ribbed tank top, a voluminous hoodie, and a raglan-sleeved crew neck sweater in all-year cashmere. Tailored essentials include a cotton summer shirt and a chambray artist’s shirt.

An ample tote with wrapped-leather handles comes in lamb suede as well as calf or deer leather. The bags—unlined and unconstructed—showcase the built-to-last elegance found throughout the entire collection.

Season 01 is completed by an offering of accessories, including a baseball cap, a two-ply cashmere beanie and cashmere scarf. Also featured are swim briefs and oversized beach towels.

Color is as essential to the collection as construction. A base palette of black, dark-chocolate brown, white, dark khaki and mink is highlighted with meta blue, red, and rust brown.

The lookbook, shot in Portofino, captures the light, life, and spirit of the locale.
