Lives and Works in – Samuel Fasse

After studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, the French artist Samuel Fasse now lives and works in Paris, where he has been exhibiting over the last years. He took part in various solo and group exhibitions which took place most notably at the Palais de Tokyo, the Bubenberg gallery, as well as the Charraudeau gallery.

His works have been exhibited in France at Galleria Continua and he will partake at this years’ Biennale de Nice opening ceremony and the Rencontres d'Arles closing ceremony.

He is currently working on his next releases, which will be group shows around the theme of symbiosis, with more solo shows following in 2022 in Copenhagen, Berlin and Shanghai, as well as the curation of a group show among some independent exhibition spaces.

For the first iteration of the Lives and works in Pop- up series for Meta Campania Collective, Samuel Fasse took inspiration by the territory of the village Meta di Sorrento at the Amalfi coast and created edible art, based on the most famous vegetable from Campania- the tomatoe.

Additionally, he curated a selection of his works under the title ‘Nature’ that work in symbiosis with the honest and natural materials that Meta Campania Collective uses for their collections.
